      Music from the Mud Room

The Mud Room, so called, is a mud room, leading in from a meadow, but furnished now with a stove and an upright piano and a number of stringed instruments and a G4 laptop for reproducing and recording music.  It's where guitar lessons take place, and it's where I've been beguiling snowed-in afternoons collecting and recording versions of traditional Christmas carols.

From Kathy Goldmark and Don't Quit Your Day Job Records: "Get more music from your favorite literary and radio personalities in this amazing double-CD collection of 32 songs. And, hey, it's for a good cause, too: A portion of the proceeds from sales of this recording go to the PEN Writers Special Fund and other charities chosen by the authors."
